After our initial conversation, we’ll set up a time and place for me to photograph your pet. I recommend you choose a place that you and your pet both feel the most comfortable. Your home, favorite park, and your yard are examples. Early mornings or late afternoons have the softest and most complimentary light and times I prefer to shoot.

A session generally lasts about an hour and a half to two hours, depending on the number of subjects and of course, their personalities. But I do not focus on time I focus on your pet. I will stay as long as I have to in order to get a good enough range of photos for no extra charge.

Some animals require a bit more time to adjust than others. Patience is something needed. . .and I have plenty of. I will also bring natural healthy treats to assist with relaxing your best friend; some pets have anxiety and I would prefer to help them settle down and become comfortable before I shoot.

I photograph with an all digital setup (Nikon D300 DSLR) and I can have your photos ready for viewing within 2 weeks. Any editing (black and white, tint and toning, retouching) are all included in your session at no extra charge.

Sessions do fill up quickly especially in the Spring and Summer months, so please book well in advance, and please understand, weather may cause a delay or rescheduling of an appointment.

There are different session packages available to meet your different needs.

Retouch Information

Many times you take a picture and when you see it developed you realize the flash didn’t fire or the room was too dark or you have an old picture that looks destroyed and it was your childhood pet or your beloved pet has passed away and all you have is one not-so-great image. . . you think it’s over. . . think again!

I am fluent in many software programs such as Corel and Photoshop and I have the knowledge and capabilities to retouch and restore almost any* image. Please view my gallery of samples I have retouched and see for yourself that all might not be lost, no matter how bad your picture seems at first.

*Disclaimer: I will work my hardest and best for you, but not ALL images are salvageable. I will advise you after evaluating your image if it is possible or impossible. I will always be honest and upfront.
